Ekadashi
Ekadashi is the 11th lunar day in both waxing and waning phases of the Moon. It is considered highly auspicious for fasting and spiritual practices. There are 24 Ekadashi days in a year, each associated with different benefits and spiritual significance.
Purnima (Full Moon)
Purnima is the full moon day, the 15th day of the waxing phase. It is considered highly auspicious for spiritual practices, meditation, and important ceremonies. Many festivals like Guru Purnima and Kartik Purnima fall on this day.
Amavasya (New Moon)
Amavasya is the new moon day, the 15th day of the waning phase. It is significant for ancestor worship (Pitru Paksha) and certain spiritual practices. Some Amavasya days are considered more auspicious than others.
Muhurta
Muhurta refers to auspicious and inauspicious times for important activities. Auspicious muhurtas are ideal for starting new ventures, ceremonies, and important decisions. Inauspicious periods (like Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam) should be avoided for significant activities.
